Celebrate Mexican Independence Day, Playa-style!
Don’t miss the second edition of Playa Fest taking place September 15-16, 2017 at the new Andaz Mayakoba Resort in the Riviera Maya. This weekend event is designed for guests and Riviera Maya locals alike, and will feature an opening cocktail party and Independence Day celebration at Mayakoba's charming town square, El Pueblito, as well as a full day of athletic events, including a 5K fun run, sunrise yoga, stand up paddle boarding, kite surfing and so much more!
If you haven’t been to Mayakoba yet, this is your chance; located just 15 minutes north of Playa del Carmen, it’s an easy drive if you’re in town. Playa Fest plans to take full advantage of the beautiful resort property, turquoise blue waters and white sand beaches to create the perfect backdrop for all kinds of beach activities. You can take on the 3-part Mayakoba Playa Fest Challenge, a yoga + 5K + SUP race and enjoy mouthwatering cuisine prepared by renowned guest chefs.

Saturday, September 16
8am – Sunrise yoga
9am – 5K Fun Run & Stand Up Paddle Clinic
10am – 1K & 5K SUP
11am – Jet Surf Mexico Clinic & Demonstration
12pm – Aqua Forza Clinic
12pm onwards – Awards Lunch at La Olla Ceviche
7:30pm – Closing Dinner
