Seaside Rotary to Host 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off

On Saturday, February 8, 2020 Seaside Rotary will host its annual chili cook-off fundraising event at Latitude 20 Restaurant in Puerto Aventuras. Proceeds from this event will allow Seaside Rotary to continue their support of local community organizations and charitable initiatives.

Last year’s chili cook-off was a huge success, and this year's fundraising event is expected to be even bigger with more professional chefs and local home cooks competing for the title of “Best Chili on the Riviera Maya.”

Think you have what it takes? There is no cost to participate and present your very best chili recipe, but space is limited. The deadline for registration is Monday, February 3. The chili will be tasted and voted on by members of the community, and participants are encouraged to invite friends and family to "stack the deck" in their favor. The chili recipe with the most votes will win the People’s Choice Award and the top three chili chefs will take home a trophy and bragging rights!

The chili cook-off is taking place on Saturday, February 8, from 4pm to 6pm, at Latitude 20 Restaurant in Puerto Aventuras. The cost to attend, taste all of the delicious chili recipes and cast your vote for your favorite is just 300 pesos, which includes 2x1 drink specials.
