PACK FOR A PURPOSE WITH THE FAIRMONT MAYAKOBA RESORT

Guests staying at the luxurious Fairmont Mayakoba resort in the Riviera Maya during the month of December 2012 can spread holiday cheer far beyond the grounds of the hotel this winter season.

Fairmont Mayakoba

Wondering what to do with all the extra room in your suitcase? Bring along some clothing or toys from home in your luggage to donate for the Fairmont Mayakoba's Pack for a Purpose program. These items will be given to kids at the Casa Hogar del DIF Quintana Roo, a local orphanage run by the state government's family support organization. Even if you're traveling to this eco-friendly resort after Christmas, you'll still have plenty of time to donate a gift for the kids! The presents will be given out during a party for the children held on January 6, the popular "Three Kings Day", a Mexican holiday especially for kids. Travelers who aren't staying at the Fairmont Mayakoba resort can also stop by during their vacation to drop off gifts for the kids.

And when it's time to fly home after your vacation, you can use that leftover space in your suitcase to bring home some souvenirs of your Riviera Maya adventures.

Fairmount Mayakoba

The Fairmont Mayakoba has been participating with Pack for a Purpose for the past few years, a welcome addition to its extensive lists of community projects and green programs. At the resort, you'll find numerous eco-friendly initiatives as well as stunning suites, a canal winding through the entire property and incredible cuisine. What better way to complete a stay with this breathtaking luxury resort than to help out the local Riviera Maya community with just one simple yet generous gesture?

Make a child's Three Kings Day wish come true with Pack for a Purpose and the Fairmont Mayakoba resort!
