Surf, Turf & Wine

Wine O’Clock Boutique has just launched a brand-new menu inspired by the perfect balance between seafood and meat, and it is nothing short of impressive. Known for its curated selection of Mexican and international wines, the boutique has also expanded its drink offerings to include artisan beers and cocktails, making it an ideal destination for any kind of evening out.

We began with a fish tiradito featuring yuzu sauce, avocado, Persian cucumber, red onion, grapefruit supreme, and cilantro oil. Fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced, it was the perfect way to start the experience.

Next came the tuna sashimi served with ponzu and morita chili, paired with Ataulfo mango, Persian cucumber, and red onion. The sweetness of the mango combined with the subtle heat of the chili created a harmonious and refreshing bite.

The seafood selection continued with a mixed black aguachile made with shrimp, octopus, and catch of the day, tossed in a roasted chili sauce and complemented by cucumber, red onion, and an avocado emulsion. Bold flavors and just the right amount of heat made this dish truly memorable.

We then moved on to tacos, starting with grilled octopus tacos topped with cheese, guacachile, and pico de gallo. Rich, smoky, and full of flavor, they were followed by tempura fish tacos served with sunomono and roasted garlic mayonnaise, crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside.

For the meat lovers, the menu delivers just as strongly. The Angus burger came on brioche bread with 200g of meat, Dijon mustard mayonnaise, caramelized onion with whiskey, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Comforting, indulgent, and perfectly executed.

To finish, we shared a 400g rib eye served with grilled vegetables and chimichurri. Cooked to perfection, it was the ideal way to close the meal and a clear statement that this menu excels at both land and sea.

These new dishes are a seamless addition to the already outstanding menu at Wine O’Clock Boutique. Surrounded by some of the best wines in town, guests can enjoy an evening indoors in the comfort of air conditioning or outside on the terrace. It is a perfect spot for small groups, a date night, or a relaxed outing with a partner or friend.

We highly recommend you make a visit soon. The union between seafood and meat is so well done, it will have you coming back again and again.
