Feast by the Shore: A Recap of The Fives Puerto Morelos Food Fest Featuring 10 Local Restaurants
Last month, The Fives Oceanfront Hotel in Puerto Morelos, hosted an incredible food festival featuring ten local restaurants that showcased the best of the town's gastronomy. The festival provided a fantastic opportunity for visitors and locals alike to discover and enjoy the unique flavors of Puerto Morelos.
The ten participating restaurants were Al Mare, Boquinete, Don Mexkal, El Charro, El Inicio, La Choza, Mem Al Mare, Veggie Veggie, Osteria Barocca, and Koox Ich Kool. Each restaurant presented a variety of dishes, from traditional Mexican cuisine to international fusion dishes. The festival was an excellent opportunity for these local businesses to showcase their culinary skills and highlight their specialties. Food enthusiasts, like ourselves, had the chance to try incredible duck tacos with mole (from Koox Ich Kool), delicious and perfectly cooked picaña tacos (Don Mexkal), shrimp tostadas on the grill (by Boquinete) and white-chocolaty-caviar-mussel-creations (by Marea), only to name a few!
The festival was held on the beach, providing a beautiful setting for guests to enjoy the food, drinks, and live music. The event's organizers, hosts and all participating restaurants did an outstanding job, from all the variety of food stations to the open bar, serving signature cocktails, to the unique ambiance with 3 different music presentations, each of them made literally everyone dance until late night. The event's affordable price was another highlight, making it accessible to all those who wished to attend.
The Fives Oceanfront Puerto Morelos is already planning the next edition of this fantastic festival, and we can't wait to see what they have in store. This event was an excellent way to discover Puerto Morelos' local gastronomy, and we expect the next edition to be even more impressive.

They really succeded to reunite in one same location: delightful different food gems, dreamy scenery, awesome live music, colorful and tasty signature cocktails and a unique ambiance that Puerto Morelos perfectly pulled off!
