New Events Lineup at La Finisima Caguameria
If there’s one thing we can’t get enough of, it’s live music... and tacos. Ok, two things.
Lucky for us, Playa's funky-chic gastropub, La Finísima Caguamería de Esquina, has opened its doors as a forum for local and emerging artists with a variety of live music and weekly events for locals and tourists in the heart of downtown Playa del Carmen. And the food is pretty incredible too!
Located at 1 Av. Norte and Calle 20, La Finísima Caguamería de Esquina is a restaurant and bar with a unique gastropub concept inspired by the cantinas of Mexico. It serves a full menu of seafood, authentic Mexican street food with a gourmet touch, and wood-fired dishes in a casual atmosphere, along with a variety of loggers, traditional and craft beers, mezcal, and tequila.
The restaurant’s new program: “La Finísima Caguamería Presents” is designed to showcase the unique talents of emerging artists and musicians. The program features numerous special events throughout the month that span a variety of musical genres; everything from electrocumbia and Latin funk, to rhythm and blues, acoustic hits, and even cantina music.

Friday, March 31st - Cabaret Night with 20 Varos Producciones
With an image that’s 100% Playense, La Finísima Caguamería de Esquina is quickly becoming a popular spot for tourists looking to get a taste of the local nightlife scene. In addition to the monthly calendar of events, the restaurant also hosts a weekly “Noche de Chicas Locas” ladies night every Tuesday with free mojitos and margaritas from 8pm to 11pm.
