Ring in the Holidays at El Pueblito Mayakoba

Mayakoba’s charming Mexican-style town square “El Pueblito” is making a name for itself as one of the top destinations for cultural events in the Riviera Maya. From farmers markets and free outdoor movie nights, to food festivals, cooking classes with famous chefs and lots more, there’s always something fun going on at El Pueblito at Mayakoba, especially during the holidays!

This year, El Pueblito is hosting two family-friendly Christmas events that you don’t want to miss; a lively Christmas Fair and a holiday-themed 5K fun run called the Mayakoba Jingle Run.

Christmas Fair at Mayakoba

When: Thursday, December 22nd from 6 pm to 11 pm

Come and enjoy an evening of Christmas fun for the entire family at El Pueblito at Mayakoba. There will be delicious food prepared by some of Mayakoba’s best chefs and a variety of drinks, including craft beer, wine, tequila and mezcal. There will also be local crafts for sale, just in case you still need to pick up a few last minute gifts, and live music to ring in the holiday season.

Admission to the Christmas Fair is $100 pesos per person and drinks cost $50 pesos each. You’re invited to bring a new toy that will be donated to less fortunate children in the community.

Mayakoba Jingle Run 5K

When: Friday, December 23rd from 8 am to 10 am

What better way to squeeze in some exercise this holiday season – or maybe just burn off the calories consumed at the Christmas Fair the night before – than with a festive holiday-themed 5K (3.1-mile) fun run around beautiful Mayakoba. The Mayakoba Jingle Run is an all-ages event, so grab your running shoes, bring the family, and get ready to celebrate Christmas Mayakoba style.

The cost to participate in the Jingle Run is $100 pesos that Mayakoba will donate to a local charity, making this more than just a fun run, but also a great way to help support the local community and give back in the true spirit of the Christmas season.
