Playa del Carmen's First Vinyl Record Store!
This week in the heart of Playa del Carmen, we got our very first vinyl record store! This shop is the first of its kind not only in Playa, but in the entire state of Quintana Roo; here, you can find a variety of vinyl from a wide range of musical genres as well as accessories, turntables, needles, clothing, and art, in addition to technical maintenance service and audio equipment repairs! Of course, Riviera Maya News and Events by BuyPlaya was there for the big opening, and we are happy to introduce you to the truly unique Spinny Grooves:
Spinny Grooves is a cultural meeting point that revives, promotes and encourages the use of vinyl records. It is a place where music lovers and DJs will find everything they need, and in case the store doesn't carry what you're looking for, the staff guarantees they will find it for you.
The store features 3 turntable stations where customers can listen to the records before buying and choose their favorites!!
The project was conducted by an experienced group of DJs that will ensure the quality and fine selection of inventory. The group is comprised of Ernest Preston, Jeff Gold, Perla Gabilondo, Barby Montiel and Gabriel Galindo. Their goal with Spinny Grooves is to expand the musical horizons of all people and of all ages who can appreciate good music in the best audio format that exists: the vinyl record! The only format that piracy cannot beat, and this way its quality is guaranteed.

The products will be brought from various places around the world as relationships have been made with production companies, record labels and record stores who, along with the owners of Spinny Grooves, share this old school music and sound culture with the public at large.
Spinny Grooves is located on 20th Avenue between 10th Street and 10th Bis, in the heart of Playa del Carmen, only a few steps from world famous 5th Avenue and a few mores steps to the white sand Caribbean beach.
