Local Playa del Carmen dance company Operativo Silla Movil is celebrating Day of the Dead with its Amor y Muerte Festival, including a day full of culture at Playa del Carmen's main city cemetery! With activities for all ages, this festival will include workshops, art, music, dance, theater and more throughout the day. In addition to beautiful Day of the Dead performances, you can also sign up for the following activities (ALL IN SPANISH):
9 am - 11 am: Painting Workshop with Ivan Rosales (ages 8+, supplies and materials are included with your voluntary donation, space is limited so please sign up at festivalamorymuerte@operativosillamovil.com)
11am - 1pm: Catrina Paper Mache Workshop with Alejandra Campo (ages 12+, supplies and materials are included with your voluntary donation, space is limited so please sign up at festivalamorymuerte@operativosillamovil.com)
1pm - 3pm: Graphic Art Workshop using Transfer Technique with Narda Paniagua (ages 10+, supplies and materials are included with your voluntary donation, space is limited so please sign up at festivalamorymuerte@operativosillamovil.com)
3pm - 4pm: Hanal Pixan Interactive Conference with Gabriela Guerrero and Hermelindo Be Cituk (all ages)
4pm - 6pm: Story Creation Workshop with Rosy Vivanco (ages 8+, supplies and materials are included with your voluntary donation, space is limited so please sign up at festivalamorymuerte@operativosillamovil.com)
