Class description: There are many different types of yoga. There is a yoga style sure to fit everyone, even if you’ve never done yoga before or work in an office, or are recovering from an injury. In this Chair Yoga session, you will learn ways to stretch your legs, hips, shoulders and spine while seated in a chair. In addition, you will learn supported strengthening movements for the back as well as some modified Hatha Yoga Poses for increasing focus and balance. We will also do calming breathing patterns and relaxation visualizations that are perfect for flying or before a big event! No prior yoga experience is needed for this fun, experiential workshop. Just wear comfortable clothes, be able to have bare feet, and bring a beach towel or a firm blanket.
