By now, and through all the years we have been sharing with you our infinity of food blogs, you all know that we are not only food maniacs, but also wine lovers. The pairing of food and wine is certainly, and not only for us but for most epicureans of this world, one of the most heavenly combinations there is. Over these past years, Mexico has become an important player in the wine scene, and its industry has been booming and surprising the entire world with hundreds and hundreds of different excellent high-end wines, from Baja California to Chihuahua and Sonora, from Parras Coahuila to Queretaro, San Miguel de Allende, etc. This is why we are particularly excited to share with you this upcoming very special edition of Wine Fest, by The Fives Beach Resort & Residences and The Fives Plaza. We have been covering almost all of the previous 7 editions of Wine Fest, and we are always stunned by the quality of the event, the amazing organization, the fantastic ambiance and of course the delightful food and delectable wines! Well, this year, Wine Fest is showcasing its very first Mexican Wines Edition!!!

More than a hundred different Mexican wines will be presented to the grand public and there will be, of course, an array of incredible and traditional Mexican food, a mixology bar and craft beers, live mariachis, live “Banda” music from the North, fireworks and so much more!!! At the press conference last week, we were part of the lucky media peeps to get a foretaste of the festival, and we have to say… they made sure we understood that this year’s festival will be even more grandiose than ever. We were welcomed with some of the great Mexican wines that will be present at Wine Fest, with flavorful, colorful and wonderful Mexican food and deserts, and of course with a joyful ambiance and well-organized presentation of what we should expect of this latest Wine Fest. The festival will take place on May 28th and is hosted by The Fives Beach Resort and Residences.
